Dr. Nogiec is an exercise scientist. His research interests include muscle metabolism and applied nutrition for specific health, fitness, and training goals.  His previous research entails creating a novel computational model of muscle metabolism which predicted the essential amino acids necessary for muscle hypertrophy (growth). In addition, Dr. Nogiec used the model to identify key reactions linked to insulin resistance (Type 2 Diabetes) phenotypes, validated in mice and human models, as well.  For more information click here.
